Annual Contributions

Shillington Borough Fishing Rodeo: Borough event. SBA provides hot dogs, chips and drinks for kids the morning of opening day.
Scholarship to Mifflin Graduate: We provide a $400 scholarship to a student who plans to attend a college or trade school that relates to business. 
Shillington Memorial Day Parade: SBA donates $1,000 each year to help pay for attractions at the parade.  We also encourage members to participate.
Annual Car Cruise & Family Fun Day: SBA hosts this great community event in the Shillington Park. In addition to collecting canned food for the Food Bank, we have lots of fun activities put together for kids and adults alike.
Shillington Holiday Tree Lighting: SBA provides and serves hot chocolate and cookies free to public throughout this borough event.
Shillington Municipal Workers' Christmas Party: Each year we donate funds to show appreciation for their support during the year.
Flags for Heroes: A newer project that we aim to expand each year. We spearhead a Flags for Heroes campaign in which community members are invited to purchase American Flags for display in town over the course of Memorial Day. The project offers a way to honor fallen heroes as well as decorate our town with patriotic pride.

Shillington Borough Holiday Snowflakes: Donated in installments as funds were raised
Town Hall Clock: Helped to raise $15,000 and worked with Sen. Mike O'Pake for a grant. Took a few years to raise the funds.

Donations to various local organizations including: Berks Classical Children's Chorus, Mifflin Community Library, Shillington Fire Co., Shillington Lions Club, The American Legion, Shillington Citizen of the Year, and others.
